I am an integrative psychotherapist – meaning I incorporate techniques/strategies from various modalities to work uniquely with each client.
I draw upon concepts from IFS “Parts Work”; Somatic Embodiment & Regulation Strategies; CBT basics; Inner Child Work; Hypnotherapy/Visualization; Art & Mindfulness Therapy; Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction; Motivational Interviewing & Restorative Yoga.
I specialize in the areas of trauma; inner-relationship/parts work; life transitions; inner child healing; depression/anxiety; attachment & existential concerns. However, I believe that choosing a therapist is more about fit than approach. If you’re drawn to working with me I encourage you to reach out.

Initiating Therapy:
When beginning Psychotherapy it is most effective to attend sessions on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. This pace allows us to establish a strong therapeutic rapport & have the continuity to build on what we worked through in previous sessions. Giving you a sense of momentum & direction.
We’ll hold a recurring time/day OR you can book your follow-up at the end of your session.
Transitioning Phases:
As therapy progresses, sessions may become less frequent, transitioning to bi-weekly, monthly etc, depending on your needs.
I sometimes incorporate ‘insight cards’ into meaningful or culminating moments of sessions – inviting imagery & words to prompt further reflection.
I’m also studying the Rider-Waite Tarot & Jungian principles to incorporate this work into future offerings. Tarot, especially in the Jungian framework, engages with universal archetypes & the language of the subconscious, providing a reflective tool to explore our inner landscapes.
All spots are currently full.
I have a sliding scale waitlist – reach out if you’d like to add your name.
I hold an MSW & am Registered (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Work; British Columbia College of Social Work & Newfoundland College of Social Work. Many insurance providers cover Psychotherapy services under RSW title. Check with your provider for coverage details.
Providing 24 hours written notice by email, there will be no charge for cancelled or rescheduled appointments. Otherwise, the session fee is charged.
In my approach, goals are personalized & guided by your unique process. Some clients find that the experience within a session—whether it brings emotional release, insight, or clarity—is fulfilling in itself & doesn’t require extra steps between sessions. Others benefit from setting an intention, reflecting on a specific topic, or working toward a goal as a bridge between our time together.
It’s common to have insights in between sessions. If it feels right, I encourage clients to keep a journal of thoughts, dreams etc that intersect with our work to help guide our process.
If we have pulled cards in your session you’ll receive an email of them following your session. This invites further reflection on what the cards stir in you.
Hypnotherapy is distinct from Pychotherapy. Some insurance providers cover Hypnotherapy services as part of members benefits plans, while others consider it a different category of service.
I suggest inquiring before booking if insurance reimbursement is a deciding factor.
In Hypnosis, there are levels of induction.
Participants of Performance/Stage Hypnosis are taken to the deepest levels before sleeping state. In this place they are relying on the instruction of the Hypnotist. Most are unable to recall the experience of Stage Hypnosis. Due to this common example, many folks understandably assume Hypnotherapy will look similar.
Hypnotherapy is offered in various levels between the waking & dreaming states.
In the form of Hypnotherapy I offer, clients are gently guided to a relaxed & attuned inner state. You’ll remember the session in a similar way that you’d remember a guided meditation.
My primary offering is Psychotherapy. I offer Hypnotherapy services to Psychotherapy clients who feel called to explore their inner world in an intentional session.
I am cognizant of the depth that Hypnotherapy can take clients & want to ensure we have a safe therapeutic rapport & shared understanding of your trauma history before delving into that space.
Many practitioners who offer Hypnotherapy as their primary offering operate in a different manner. They offer Hypnotherapy in session 1 & work within a different framework regarding therapeutic rapport/relationship.
If you are seeking Hypnotherapy as your goal & would like to work with me, please reach out. We can discuss a treatment plan where we work towards this intention.
Yes, I sometimes integrate ‘inner world explorations’ (eyes shut; guided body relaxation & self-inquiry) into standard Psychotherapy sessions. I’ve found that closing your eyes & tuning into the wisdom that your body & subconscious holds is a helpful addition to the therapeutic process.
I’m currently renovating a secondary space adjacent to my office with a reclining chair & blackout curtains.
Once this space is ready I will update the hypnotherapy page with in-person service listing/rate.
Reach out if you’re interested in being notified when this offering is ready.
No, I do not provide psychedelic therapy in the sense of providing or administering psychedelics. Instead, I offer integration therapy, which focuses on helping you process & integrate your psychedelic experience in a safe, supportive container.
Park & waterfront sessions are available for clients who’ve had at least one Psychotherapy session.
I’m in the city on a monthly or bi-monthly basis in spring, summer & fall.
If it rains or snows on the day of your nature-based session, we will shift to a 60 minute phone session at your standard Psychotherapy rate.
Upon booking a park or waterfront session you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to set up a complimentary 15 min planning session. We’ll agree upon a spot & I’ll send a map confirming our meeting location.
Fall 2025 & beyond. Reach out if you’re interested in attending
All experiences will be arranged in a bespoke style.
It’s my intention to spend a month at 11:11, holding space for clients who feel drawn to attend for 1, 2 or 3 week experiences.
Retreat services will be offered Mon-Fri (weekends for free exploration) for three weeks in either September, October or November.
I have capacity to facilitate for 5 clients per week & am trusting that when we’re meant to gather, the group will form.
Once spaces have been filled we will begin arranging exact dates & details.
Check back for updates on new dates & offerings.
Please do! I’m here for long-term dreaming –
